Scratch-Made Catering
EVERY DISH, EVERY TIME
When we say scratch-made, we mean it literally. Breads, pasta, pastry and desserts, nut butters, dressings, preserves, and sauces are all made in our own kitchens, with ingredients sourced directly from American family farmers and producers. We make our own chocolate, sustainably roast our own coffee, and build our cocktails around Founding Spirits, our own DC-based distillery, with in-house syrups and mixers, seasonal cocktails, zero-proof options, and scratch sodas.

Our Roots
BEYOND THE FOOD
Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events grew out of something simple: guests who loved Founding Farmers wanted to bring that experience to their own celebrations. We're rooted in decades of hospitality experience running some of the DMV's most beloved restaurants, and majority owned by American family farmers, including the North Dakota Farmers Union. That ownership is why we exist: to give family farmers a larger share of the food dollar and unbundle the industrial supply chain.

We're also on a mission to protect, preserve, and provide for our people, our communities, and the planet, which shows up in the hundreds of decisions we make every day: thoughtfully sourcing our ingredients, working with suppliers to reduce packaging, and diverting the vast majority of our trash away from landfills. When you cater with us, you're part of that mission too.
