Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events has the honor of catering at the historic Library of Congress for their weekly “Live! At The Library” events every Thursday night throughout December 2024. Free to the public, this ongoing event series invites book lovers and history buffs alike to explore the library during the evening while nibbling and sipping on delicious food & drink. See below for our custom menu of scratch-made savory snacks, sweet treats, and craft cocktails plus some of our favorite recent moments.
Upon arrival, guests were enchanted by the hallowed halls of the nation’s iconic library. Ready with a curated selection of Founding Farmers favorites, our team had the small bites and treats available throughout the entire evening as guests immersed themselves in the library's exhibits, collections, and programs.
From Farm Breads and Cheese & Charcuterie Cups to Pimento Biscuits with Ham and Roasted Brussels Sprouts Skewers, variety was aplenty for library goers.
Of course, we also had an assortment of fun and sweet treats including our signature Founding Farmers Chocolate, mini Jefferson Donuts, and Whirly Pop Popcorn.
Christmas Tree Lighting
Mid-December, at the “Live! At The Library” event, Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events brought the holiday magic to life during the Library’s ceremonial tree lighting. Our team delighted guests with scratch-made holiday cookies, including classic gingerbread men, chocolate chip cookies, and beautifully decorated iced sugar cookies. To warm spirits, we also served cups of our rich, indulgent hot chocolate, the perfect complement to the festive evening. Attendees enjoyed an array of delicious concessions, seasonal drinks, stunning holiday decorations, Christmas carolers, and even a surprise visit from Santa Claus himself.
